Dr. Larry Emmott is one of the most entertaining speakers in dentistry; he will have you laughing while you are learning. He is considered the leading dental high tech authority in the country and has over thirty years of experience as a practicing general dentist in Phoenix, AZ.

He is also an entertaining award winning professional speaker and seminar leader. He has addressed hundreds of business and professional groups on a variety of subjects, all related to using computers and digital technology in the dental office.. He has been a featured speaker at every major US dental meeting, including the Chicago Mid-winter, the ADA annual meeting, the CDA, the Greater New York, and others. He also worked as a Featured Technology Instructor at the Pride Institute, and the Las Vegas Institute.

Since 2003 he has led an annual three day CE adventure course “Technology on the Rocks” in Sedona Arizona.

He is the founder and director of Emmott on Technology, LLC, a dental computer consulting company, he provides high tech dental consulting for dentists and industry and he has been a pioneer in online publishing with his blog Emmott onTechnology.com. He is also the director of technology content for the online magazine Dentalcompare.

Prior to the Internet publishing revolution Dr. Emmott wrote monthly technology columns for Dental Products Report Magazine from 2000 - 2010, and Dental Economics before that. In addition he has had many articles published in other national magazines on High Tech dentistry, practice development, management, communications and related topics.

In 2008 Dr. Emmott compiled his columns and lectures into three high tech guides for dentists. "Going Paperless", "Computers in the Back" and "Digital Radiography".

Dr. Emmott was raised in Arizona and attended the University of Arizona and graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 1977.

In 1997 he led a group of dental technology consultants and vendors in the development of "Treatment Room 2001". This unique project brought together the leading dental technology companies and put them together in a hands on integrated dental office exhibit.

He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Arizona State Dental Association, Central Arizona Dental Society, and the prestigious American Academy of Dental Practice Administration as well as other professional associations.

Among his many awards Dr. Emmott has been recognized by Toastmasters International as an "Accredited Speaker". This special award recognizes professionalism and outstanding achievement in public speaking and has been presented to only twenty-three people worldwide.
